Fenwick Feralite Rod Value: Identifying & Appraising Your Vintage Fishing Rod

I have an old Fenwick rod that belonged to my father and was wondering if you have any information regarding this rod including what the monetary value might be. It is a Fenwick Feralite rod, 8 ft long and 3.5 oz., number FF79, serial number J41921. It is in it's original tube with plaid wrapping and looks like it has never been used.

Any information that you can give me about this rod would be very appreciated.

There are a lot of Fenwick rods out there so generally they aren't worth a lot.  It could be in the $40-$50 range.  The fact that yours is in the original tube, sock, and may have never been fished ups the value significantly.  A rod like that could get $150 to $200 on e-Bay.
