how do i find out how old this combo is. plus how much is it worth ?

Bobby; I am not an expert on old rods and reels.  About all I can tell you is for you to try to contact the maker of the rod if the company name is on it anyplace.  If there is no name on it try looking for antique fishing tackle on the web.  One other possibility would be to write Bassmaster magazine.  The magazine has a page every issue dealing with such questions.  Send them all the information you can find on the rod.  Look at the butt end and along the rod or perhaps in the area of the reel seat.  They might be able to help you.

I am sorry I can't do much better but there is no point in my trying to tell you anything about the rod because I am very ignorant on that subject.  Thank you for calling me to answer your question.
