Answer
Hi Sonny,

I feel your frustration.  We use large floats like that for sucker fishing in the fall for Musky.

Your first search would start at Musky suppliers like Rollie and Helens, Pastikas, or Thorne Brothers.  They usually have them.

I have also found some at some saltwater outlets like Bass Pro Shops saltwater division or Cabelas saltwater catalog.

I have also made my own at times.  I go to a good craft store like a Michaels or Joannes and buy large Dylite balls that are used for various craft projects.  Do not buy the open cell styrofoam balls.  Then I take a long drill or hot ice-pick and make a 1/8th inch hole right down the middle.  I also buy some 1/8 o.d-1/16th i.d rigid plastic tubing and slide an appropriate length piece into the hole.  A little epoxy holds it in place.  A match or candle flame on the end of the tube softens up any sharp edges. Then leave them white or spray paint them a visible color.

Good fishing!

Marc
