Shorefishing Apalachicola

Question
Any recommendations on places to fish from shore along the Apalachicola or its tributaries between the state line and Saint George Island. I'm not looking for any particular type of fish, just places with the most variety
of fish in one spot.

Answer
I  thought I had answered this question.  Maybe it got lost in cyber space.   Anyway the word   on fishing the Apalichacola River from the bank the word is not much access except at the landings.  This river runs through mostly a gorge in the upper part or through a lot of swamp in the lower area.  The river is just over 100 miles long from the dam at Lake Seminole to the mouth at the town of Apalachicola and there are few places to get to the bank.  If you ask around in the town of Blountstown there might be some places you can get to the river if it is low.  You can try asking in the town of Wewahitchka also.  Otherwise the public landings is about all I know of.

Sorry I could not be more definitive but I have never fished it from the bank.  I have always had a boat to explore the many tributaries and swamps which I love to do.

Thanks for calling on me to answer your question even though my information is very limited.  If you have other fishing questions feel free to call on me again.
