Identifying Vintage MATCH 670 Fishing Reel - Japan Made
Question
I recently purchased an old spincast reel from a antique mall with a brand I have never heard of. It has a light green top with a black bottom with the name MATCH 670 on the side with a small red crown next to the name. It was made in Japan and has a rugged construction. Any info.?
Answer
Hello
Unfortunately I am not able to further identify this reel based on your description. Japan produced a lot of low cost fishing tackle after WWII - I am assuming this maybe one.
Generally, collectors are most interested in high quality American reels. (Reels that were expensive at the time they were sold).
