Bass Fishing Strategy: High Water Conditions & Weedless Tactics

Question
The marshes are flooded 70 degree water temp post spawn, beutiful weed growth, near record high water levels that are going to take weeks to drain down and the only reliable bite I can find is on the rocks with current both small and largemouth are there. Senkos and jigs with an occaisional rattle trap fish tournament next weekend stable weather next week got any ideas? I sure want to find them in the weeds as this is where my comfort level is best and usually the bass are biggest.

Answer
Hi Greg, and thanks for the question.
I think I'd try to get a limit fishing in the rocks where you've found them, and then move to the area I would be more comfortable in and try fishing for some bigger fish there. I'd try spinnerbaits and crankbaits first, and if those didn't produce I'd slow way down and try a worm, senko or jig,
Good luck.
