milwar fishing rod

QUESTION: found a nice milwar rod in it's original canvas bag with the base and the 3 extensions quite old i presume i would like to find a value and age if possible as condition looks very fine

can you provide me additional information on this rod, is this rod steel or bamboo. A bait casting rod or fly rod.

Also, any other markings?

QUESTION: i am sure this is a bamboo rod and vry long so it must be a fly rod and i'm just looking for an approximate value. thanks barrie

I am not able to determine the maker from this rod - here are some general numbers

1. american custom made - $100s and up
2. american production - $50 - $150
3. japaneese, post WW2 - $25-50
