Bedding Bass

Hey Bill,
I just wanted to ask you about bedding bass. My qeustions where what part of the year do they do this ? and where do they usaully bed in the water ? eg. weeds,lilly pads

They do this while they're spawning and a little just after bass season. I'm not 100% sure what structure is there favorite but I see tons of bass in the Lilly pads. If U want to fish there you should use a topwater lure like a hula popper or a skitter pop and cast it on top of a Lilly pad and then jerk it in the water, let it sit, tug the rod again, let it sit repeat. I also know that they like rock formations and buyees out in the water. Lots of them also like to hang around floor drops and weedlines at night.
