Deerpoint Lake Fishing Boat Rentals: Availability & Alternatives

Are there any fishing boat rentals available on Deer Point Lake,Fl? My two friends and I would like to bass fish next week but have no boat.

Greg; I do not believe there are any boat rentals on Deere Point Lake any more.  There used to be one but the owner died.  You might try giving his widdow a try however.  She still runs the place but it does not do the business it used to.  I do not have the Phone number but the place is called Tharps Landing.

I had some bad luck with my boat or I would say I would come down and take you out.  A storm sunk my boat at the dock and I have to take it to the shop to get it cleaned out and repaired.  

When you say "next week" exactly when would that be.  If I should get my boat back I would come down and take you out at no cost except for the gasoline.  I am not a guide but I lived in Panama City for 24 years and fished the lake often.
