fish structure

I would like to get info on how to build pallet type fish structure for a small 3.2 acr.  pound. there are no trees around the pound  it is on an industrial park area

Hi Joe,
I presume the pallets are the only route being considered.  If not, I would suggest Berkley's Fish Hab, which is made of recycled fishing line.  You can see more details on these on the Pure Fishing website.

As for building the ones with pallets there is more than one way.  You can make like a small house - using three.  You lean two together, and put the other one as the floor, or base.  They can be left empty, or filled with some brush.

Another way is to make a complete cube with them, and again, filled with brush.  The top is left open.

I think there is a website that tells how to build these.

The placement of them is also very critical.  The best places are deep water near areas that normally hold fish.  Drop offs, points, wherever you have found fish, are the first places to target.  I just wrote an article for Midwest Outdoors about this subject.
