lures for bass

Question
in general, during bass feeding time at night what lure would you recommend (smallmouth or Largemouth)

also whats better- skitterpop or a hulapopper

Answer
I have not done a lot of bass fishing at night, but I know live bait cannot be beat.
If you want to use artificials, go with dark colors because they silhouette better. Use a large (at least 10 inch) black worm or a black super spook and work them slowly. A buzzbait can also be good because it is easy for the fish to hone in on.

I would probably go with a Pop R over both the skitterpop and the hulapopper.

Thanks for your question. Good luck and be safe!
