Heddon #13 Thread Color

Question
Rich, I'm in the process of restoring for use my father's Heddon #13 (9' 3/2 2 3/4F GBG.  What is the right thread to use for re-wrapping?  He received it as a gift around 1932.  I've already bought new guides and ferrules but thought it would appropriate to try to match the thread.

Answer
Jim
The Heddon # 13 "Lucky Angler" made in 1930 was silk with either green with red tips or red with green tips. Green #24 is Spring Green Gudebrod #358 , YLI # 220 and Britex # 21. Red #10 is Chinese Red Gudebrod #326,  YLI (50)  #4 or (100) #201, B-C #4350 , and Britex #33.
Good luck
