Is It Time to Replace Your Fishing Line? Expert Advice

I have 50# test on a reel that has only been used twice.  However, it is almost ten years old.  Do I need to replace the line?

Jeff, Yes I would most certainly replace it. I do not know if you used it in saltwater for sure, but because of the 50 pound test line I am assuming so. Not only replace the line, but clean & oil the reel really good. Don't wait so long next time. Good luck fishing.
