FishFinders for Hobie Outback Mirage

Question
I'm in Seattle.

I'm interested in a fish/depthfinder that would be well-suited for use on a fishing KAYAK where space is LIMITED.

My kayak is the Hobie Outback Mirage.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Answer
Hello Mike,
There are several good compact units with self contained batteries that will suit your needs. You can use some type of epoxy to glue the transducer inside the bottom of your kayak. Check out West Marine, Boat US ect for fishfinders. To extend the time on the internal batteries you may also want to look at the small flexable solar powered battery chargers that you can stick on the back of the Kayak to keep the batteries charged. If after looking at what these marine stores have to offer and you have any questions, please let me know.
