picture 005.jpg   Tried to download pics at library didnt work but I think I figured it out included is an 18 inch level for size comparison. Someone re enforced the eyelets on one rod with elec tape, Grandpa was resourceful, one piece is warped, there are two tubes with bags and one is just in a bag, I also have the reals in storage but no pics of them as of yet, if it's worth a search I will git er' done and rsvp.

Hi James,

It appears that you have some short tip sections.  Are there short tip sections with both rods or only one of them?  Typically, short (broken, even if usable) tips will lower the value of the rod substantially.  If you could, measure each section of each rod and provide me those measurements, please.  Also, note any other damage to the rods and any other items like the electrical tape.

The "set" or warp that you mention is a natural occurance of using the rods...or an improper storage issue...either way it can be corrected.  It does have a bearing on value but not too much.

Can you also describe the overall condition of the rod finish; and the guides and wraps.
