Antique Fishing Rod Value Guide: D.B. Homel 2003 Edition

I saw this answer to Keith "The Heddon #400 at 5-1/2 feet is a bait casting rod rather than a fly rod.  These rods are listed in my reference book at around $80-$100 for one in very good condition. " What books are you using, please?

Hi Rich,

Sorry, I should have noted that in my response.  I took that range from the 2003 edition of the D.B. Homel, Antique & Collectible Fishing Rods Identification and Value Guide.  The actual value in the guide is $85 and I provided a range that represents my own best guess adjusted a bit for inflation and time.
