Heddon Fishing Pole #14

Question
Dear Sir, My father left us with several fishing rods, reels, and many lures.  Including One  Heddon Fishing Pole #14, in tube with with red pouch.  Am I at the correct place to ask questions regarding date and value? I can be able to supply photo's if needed.  Please advise. Thank you in advance. Regards, Carol

Answer
Hi Carol,

Yes, this is the right place.

The Heddon #14 (Thorobred) model was made from the 1920s-1950s and a variety of lengths.  Photos of the rod would be most helpful.  Heddon used different colors on the wraps which will help identify the time frame when it was made.  Pictures will help assess the condition of the rod which directly impacts value.  I will also want to know the length of the rod, number of rod sections, any damaged, broken or missing components and photos of the rod bag and rod tube.

Thanks,  Joe
