edward quadrate #425

I have a 7ft. edward and sons quadrate#425 four sided bamboo signed and numbered fishing rod in excellent condition in the original sock and metal tube. I dont know much about it or its value. Any information you could give me would be appriciated.I have asked several people and they cannot seem to come up with any information.

Hi Dean,

I believe the #425 Quadrate is a spinning rod. This would have been built by the W.E. Edwards & Son Rod Company...W.E. is Bill, one of Eustis W. Edwards sons and the developer of the four sided rod hecalled the Quadrate.

In excellent condition, with the original bag and tube, this rod should be vlaued in the $350-$450 range.
