H-I fly reel

Hello Robert. I have a Horrocks Ibbotson 1868 fly reel. My father in law said it was the first thing he got after getting back from WWII. I would appreciate any info or web sites that you can help me with.
It is auto retrieve also. She's a real piece of work, great condition.

HI was a high volume low to mid quality fishing tackle company out of Utica NY. These automatic fly reels are fairly common, low collector value. However, there is an organization Old Reel Collectors Association (ORCA) dedicated to reels.
