vintage fishing reel

Hi Robert,

I have a new, unused, in the original box with original owners manual, a Sears Roebuck and Co. Ted Williams brand (260 Spinning Reel), Model NO. 779.312961.  Would like to know when it was made, and any value....

P.S   It is gold, shiny, and I love it.

I am going to recommend this site to confirm the age, I am guessing 1970s. The reel should sell for $30 to $40.
