Ike Walton Fishing Rod #1349 - Value & Restoration

I inherited this rod from my father-in-law. It says Ike Walton in a decal that is orange with blue border and an oval fish. #1349 about 8 1/2 feet 2 piece. A wonderful keepsake of my fatherinlaw! Missing tip I wonder if I should restore it and do I dare ask, is it valuable ?

Hi Jim,

I don't believe that it is a rare rod but a great keep sake.  It may be worth $25 to $50.  That said, I am not the collector rod expert on this site.  Run this past Joe Douglas on this site and he will have more history on it.  I belive it was made by H-I.
