Vintage Ted Williams rod and real

I found a ted Williams rod and real when cleaning out my garage last week. It is in mint condition. Can you tell me what it is worth and where I can find Information about it. It is a 475 series Ted Williams it is an open faced reel. It's serial # is 77931375. It was made or distributed by sears and ro buck. the rod is a 2-ph glass ferrule tournament rod. What ever info you can give me would be very appreciated. Thanks Ann

these sell in the $50 range, as you said Sears distributed a line of fishing tackle under Ted Williams name. Shakespeare actually made most of the reels. Ted Williams was an avid fisherman when he wasn't playing baseball.
