Heddon 8457 repair

My dad gave me his old fly rod & I'd like to restore it.  The handle cork is entirely missing but other than that the rod is in great shape.  Can this be fixed easily?  Where can I get  replacement cork to fit this rod?

You did not say if it is a fly rod or otherwise. Easier to replace cork on a spin / bait rod.
It is more difficult on a fly rod.
The easy part is buying a pre made handle from a mail order outfit.
Allot of guys buy rings and shape the cork to their liking. A relatively difficult project.
