Your rod is a UK rod. I am a US bamboo fly rod man. But I think I can give you some small direction. It is not in my books or memory. And it seems like I don't know anything but that lack of information tells me that US collectors are not going to know your rod either.

Walker Bampton produced rods for Farlows in the early 1950s.

I doubt if you are going to reach the US collectors market ,I would look into the UK or European market.

Condition- it is not in excellent  condition if  "some  loose  whipping,"  if you mean thread wrapping.

Some places to look for pricing and information:
ebay-UK would be one place to sell it .

Take it to Farlows in London

You can try selling it at the Classic Fly Rod Forum at no cost http://www.classicflyrodforum.com/topic/12529/t/New-Hardy-Rod-s.html
