older daiwa baitcaster

Tim, what can you tell me about the Daiwa BW2 baitcaster reel? highspeed, 5.2:1. 2 graphite bearings. don't know how long i've had this, or where it came from. looks to be in great shape. it's all plastic. couldn't find any past reviews. anything you might be able to come up with on this reel would be appreciated. thanks, paul

Hi, Paul!! How are you today? Good I hope. Im glad you dropped me another question! Well let's see... Well what I was able to find out is this particular reel has mixed reviews. But a majority of people opting for more of a high-end Daiwa reel, I guess this reel is one of Daiwa's lower end reel brands, it's designed for crankbait fishing, and slow rolling spinnerbaits, all and all it seems to be a solid reel, just don't be too rough with it like you would be with a higher-end reel. Here's some sites that you might like to see and enjoy for more information on anything tackle related, check out www.tackletour.com, what I found out on the Daiwa go to www.ifish.net they have threads on there giving reviews about this reel, also I think this is a older model, you know before everything went to magnesium and aluminum.
