Identifying & Valuing Vintage GER Metal Fishing Rods

Hello, I was wondering if you could tell me anything about a rod that I found today. It is metal with a cork handle and the only label says GER
         ROD. If you could give me any guess toward age or value it would be greatly appreciated.

any possibility its a GEP rod. Regardless, there were numerous companies making steel fishing rods. These filled the low end of the fishing tackle market (vs. split bamboo rods). Steel rods generally don't generate much interest..with a few exceptions.
