4 piece fenwick

Question
i have a 4 piece fenwick fiber glass fishing rod that is a trout rod and fly rod. model # is L 266904 some of the label is worn but everything is in pretty good shape. from tip to stock is all original. some one please tell me what value could be worth . if pictures are needed reply and i will send detailed pics. thanks

Answer
Darrin,
I am assuming it is not a fly rod (reel below handle ) but is a casting rod (reel above handle).
I  am a bamboo man not fiberglass. Fiberglass is just not collected like bamboo. It was made from the 1950s to the 70s.
And spin / cast rods aren't collected like fly rods so low resale values.
I have no specific history or books on fiberglass, I believe they don't exist, but here's two web sites that on fiberglass:
http://fiberglass-fly-rods.pbwiki.com/
http://www.fiberglassflyrodders.info/:
Please be cautious about someone telling you your rod is worth thousands until they offer cash. People want fiberglass to be collectable like bamboo but that doesn抰 make it so.
If a fly rod then it might get $50.

Luck,
Mac
