Vintage Zebco Reels

I have an interest in old Zebco spincast reels. I have a large collection now and am always looking for more. I plan to pass my collection to my son one day, so I am not looking to sell anything at this time. I am looking for books or other resources that I can access to determine the worth of a reel at a moments notice when i find one for sale. I know that there are different features that make for example one #33 reel more valuable that another #33 reel, I just don't know what that would be. I want to be educated!!  I fell in love with Zebcos years ago and rarely use any other kind of reel.  Thanks, Lee Broyles

I recommend you join ORCA  (Old Reels Collectors Association). They have a great bulletin board, regional meets, etc.

I think there is a book on zebco...you would find out thru ORCA.

My son fishes with an old zero hour bomber reel....
