Wood fishing rod

Hello,

I have some wood or bamboo fishing rods and do not know if they have any value. one rod is a dark color wood about 5 ft. long with one eye at the top and is labeled Best By Test. It doesn't matter what it is worth because I am going to hang it in my office regardless. I love the vintage look it has.

It is bamboo if flat sided. It does look like wood.
Yes better hang it on the wall. The "Best By Test" phrase was used by Horrocks - Ibbotson Co, out of Utica, NY.
They are looked down on by the collectors who set the prices and create the history.
Not all deserve this type of non attention but most do.
If it is 5 ft , and the reel is above the handle it is a casting / bait rod not a fly rod . Strike 2.
Condition and length as well as model are important factors  to determine resale value.

They do look nice on the walls.
