Fly Rod & Reel Valuation: Hardy Bros. & Milbro Truefly - Get an Estimate

I recently bought some fishing tackle from a farmer and in it was a fly rod and reel. don't do fly fishing myself so was looking to sell them but just wanted a rough valuation. The reel is made by hardy bros ltd England and has the inscription the St Aidan on it.and the rod is made by milbro tackle and is a truefly 80 f96/2.thanks hope you can help.

I am not having much luck finding any information on the rod.  I am guessing that it may be a fiberglass?  

The Hardy Bros. St. Aidan is a good item.  Those are still fetching up to $200 on things like eBay auctions.  I would guess that if you have the box or pouch that came with it you could get that amount.

That all said, I am really not the collectibles expert regarding fishing tackle.  I would encourage you to post this question to Joe Douglas on this site.  He will have some information on the rod.
