Orvis Bamboo Flyrod Value

I was left by my uncle an Orvis Shooting Star Bamboo Rod
9'2" 6-7/8 oz Serial #30330 manufactured Feb 10 1962
Rod is mint case 2 tips fighting butt cork is a little dirty from use, but very little. Any idea on value?

Hi Jim,

I am not the expert on collector rods, but I have found a little information for you.  I found a few selling right now in the $500 range.  If yours is in mint condition you may be looking at more than that.  The real expert on this subject is Joe Douglas.  You may want to pose this question to him and include  a couple pictures if you can.
