Identifying Your Orvis Battenkill Reel: Made By or Subcontracted?

I have an Orvis Reel made in England. Did Orvis make this reel or did they sub-contract with a British Mfg.? It is a Battenkill Disc 5/6

I really am not an expert on reels - but I'll tell you where you can find a LOT of help with finding the actual maker of the reel.
