Question
Hello capt. I go to Sarasota fl every spring and I was wondering what u would advise as the chaser for my bucktail a crankbait, plug, or even live bait

Answer
Honestly?? You really do not need a chaser, Jack.

I wouldn't worry to much with the chaser and fish your bucktails hard and tip them with a shrimp piece if the bit is slow.

I have fished that area quite a bit when I was younger, but the bite is great there. you just simply have to find the fish and they'll feed on many jigs, bucks and other goodies. The trick will be locating the fish to begin with.

Look for birds, fish bridges and areas where current is moving well.

Let me know how your trip works out. Thanks and we all appreciate you using All EXperts for advice.
