just got an older complete set of taylormade firesole forged h irons in perfect shape. each iron has a penley platinum sfs shaft. once owned and played by Fuzzy. just wondering what i had and the value. Thanks

It sounds like you a very nice set of forged irons with graphite shafts.

The firesole iron was more popular with the average golfer than the low handicapper. Since they were made for Fuzzy I would assume the builders took some time to assemble them to his specs.

Most OEMs give the best of the best to the tour players. So, you have a top end iron set of that time frame. A good set to be sure. A value is hard to determine. If there is some sort of certificate of authenticity as to the previous owner then the value is obviously higher. If not then you have a nice set of tour irons.
