deciding new golf balls

Question
QUESTION: I'm almost done with my pack of noodles, so I'm debating whether or not to choose a new type. By the way, my swing speed is apprx. 95 MPH.

I'm looking for one type that are decently cheap that I would use on a consistent basis during practice rounds, and another type that I use in tournaments/serious play.

For the regular play ball, I just want something that will be worth the money and are good around the greens and has gives average distance. I would probably pay at most 30$ ?

For the tournament golf balls I'm looking for something good all around but not super expensive like the Pro V1s... Probably 30 dollar range?

I was researching a bit and was looking into either Bridgestone E6+ or Callaway Cx3 Hot for regular play. Which one of these is better in your opinion?

Thanks!

ANSWER: Jeffrey,

Since you are willing to spend $30 a dozen, try to use the same ball every time you play, whether it's a casual round or a tournament round. That way you'll be more familiar on how the ball responds to all facets of your game.

Choosing a ball that is in your price range will take some experimenting. Buy several sleeves of balls that you think you would like such as the two you mentioned in your question. This is the only way you can make a decision on what ball you settle on. Play with the different golf balls during the same round and see which one performs the best for you.

I have played Titleist since I was on my high school golf team, many years ago. I have been so happy with the performance, I really haven't tried other brands.

Thank you,
