New Sport

Question
I am involved in a large variety of sports, being that I've just turned 12, I think that it is time for a new sport. I'm thinking golf will be a peaceful, yet thrilling sport for this year. Got any tips for a New Kid?

Answer
Pooch,

Great choice. Golf is truly a game for life. Treat the game with respect and play by the rules.

If you can, make sure you take some lessons from a PGA Professional whether that be part of a junior clinic or individual lessons. This will ease the frustration and allow you to enjoy the game.

Like anything in life the more you practice and play the game, the more you can expect out of golf. Ben Hogan once said "the more I practice, the luckier I get".

Let me know how you're doing when you start to practice and play.

Best of luck to you in your new endeavor.

Michael Hoffman
PGA Professional
