Fixing Scratches on Cleveland 3 Wood Club Heads: Expert Advice
Question
Hey John,
I have a cleveland 3 wood, and the top skymarks, really bad. you dont even hit a pop-up sometimes and it will leave little hairlike scratches. I have read about guys using macguires scratch x to fix these, like you would on cars, and im wondering if that works and if its safe for the club.
Answer
Garrett,
Man, I have no idea. Something that would cover automotive scratches would be my best guess...maybe even some sort of color matched wax or something. I doubt it could do anything to your club that could make it look worse, but you still might want to try a small spot down on the heel or something first, in case it goofs up the finish.
Good Luck
John
