how to hit straight drives

Assing some information from the first question.I'm right handed and usually when I hit it offline it is a push to the right or a snap hook left

Thanks Rob, let me try to help. If you are pushing the ball in a straight line to the right indeed it is a push shot, this can be caused by the ball position being too far back in the stance therefore hitting the ball too early in the arc of the swing and sending it out right, the snap hook comes from the necessary compensation to the afore mentioned problem and over working the hands and closing the club face, try moving the ball forward towards the left heel and weakening your grip a little by moving both hands further around the club to the left, thus eliminating a possible closing of the club face.
