Swing Speed vs. Distance

I am 57 and have a swing speed of approx. 105.  I hit driver an avg. of 240 yds.  Handicap is 9. I think I should be hitting ball farther based on my swing speed.  I use TM draw R5 at 9.5 loft with factory shaft.  I hit 10/14 fairways.  Do you think money would be well spent to get fitted for a driver with launch monitor?  I have increased my swing speed from 5 years ago but no distance increase?  Thanks for your advice and help!  Steve

Steve:  Yes.  I believe you need more loft and a stronger shaft.  But let the experts take care of you. Find the best place in your area to get fitted professionally.  Ask around if you don't know where to go.  I believe your answer lies in getting the correct shaft for you.  Do not just go to any place that happens to have a launch monitor.  Go to someone all the good players use.
