Golf Trivia

My local golf pro is offering a chance to win a free round of golf for four to anyone who can answer this question.  I've searched the net quite extensively and can't seem to come up with a definitive answer.  The question is "Who holds the record for the most consecutive wins on the PGA tour?"  His hint was it's not Tiger...yet.  The closest I got to an answer was Tom Watson but I couldn't seem to verify that.

Naomi, thanks so much for the question.  Unfortunately the Experts server didn't deliver it until today.  Byron Nelson in 1945 won 11 in a row. Can you imagine...11??! (Ben Hogan is 2nd in 1948 with 6 in a row.  I hope you are in time, and apologies for the delay.  Good luck and remember...
