ski dampers

Question
I have a pair of 7 year old Salomon XScream skis, from which the damper fluid is leaking. This fluid is inside the V-shaped anti vibration devices on the front of the ski. Is it possible to repair, and if so, can you advise where please.

Answer
Hey Tony,

I have no idea if your damper can be repaired. The key question would be, can the lost fluid be replaced after repair? My best advice would be to find a Salomon dealer near you and take the skis in. They should be able to tell you if they can be repaired or if you need to replace the damper. Go to Salomon.com and at the bottom left corner you can choose Spain and then find a dealer near you.

Hope this helps,
Windlover
