finding diving lessons

We live in Arlington Texas.  Have tried the internet to find diving lessons for my 14 year old son.  Cannot seem to find any facilities that offer lessons, can you help?  Thank you, Elin

The Dallas metro area is known for having excellent club programs that offer lessons so you will have no problem finding one you like. The G.C. Divers in the Grapevine Colleyville area are one of the best age group teams in the U.S. with very experienced coaches. There is also a program out of SMU, Mustangs in the Sun.

Just go to www.usadiving.org, click on Join USA Diving and then Find A Club. Enter TX and a list of teams will come up. www.aaudiving.org is also a source of finding a program.

Have your son go to www.diving.about.com and in the search box, enter lessons. It will give him a lot of information on what to expect.

Good luck. I am sure you will find something he likes and make sure to watch all the upcoming Olympic diving events starting Sunday.
