Dryland Training

Question
Hi Tom,
We're looking for dryland training in California for our 15 year old son who is a level 10 gymnast. He needs help with accomplishing his reverse. You recommended the Santa Clara divers but unfortunately they are unable to work him in for limited training. Can you recommend a couple more contacts for dryland training in California; Northern or Southern California OK, San Diego is a little far but not out of the question.

Answer
Jeff -

Try Coach Mike Brown who runs the Dos Rios Divers in the Sacramento area (Folsom/Roseville). He rents space at a gymnastic center and has his own dry land equipment there to teach the type of dives your son is trying to learn. Go to www.dosriosdivers.com for more info.

As in the last question I answered, you can find more teams by going to www.usadiving.org, click on Clubs and then Find A Club. Enter CA and a list of teams will come up.

Good luck in your search.
