Platform diving -clubs locations and contacts

Hi Tom,
I checked out AAU as you suggested but could not find a diving club in the 95608 area (Carmichael /Sacramento)
Can you lend me expert advice ? would be for my 9 and 11 year old girls..Thanks much

Go to www.usadiving.org, click on Clubs and then Find A Club. Enter CA and a list of teams will come up. There are 3 in the Sacramento area. Capital Divers is run by DeDe Crayne and she coaches her program out of a diving pool in her backyard. She has two regulation competitive springboards and also has meets there in the Rio Linda area. There is the Dos Rios Diving Team run by Mike Brown in the Roseville area. I am not sure which pool he uses. He also coaches divers out of gymnastic center with trampolines and a "dry board" (diving board not over water). Finally, there is the Wolverine Divers run by my old friend Roland King. His address says Grass Valley but his program is out of Sierra College in Rocklin. He is a very experienced coach.Take a visit to all 3,watch a practice/lesson session and see which is best for your girls.
