Kids Diving

Question
I was wondering if you knew of any schools or programs who offer platform/springboard diving lessons for children (seven year old) on eastern long island, New York.  I know of Long Island Divers in Hempstead but they are far from me (I am in Shoreham).  Thanks, Lauren from Shoreham

You live in an area where the closest programs are going to be found in Hempstead and in New York City. I do not know of any pools in Shoreham that have the type of equipment that would attract diving coaches. The aquatic center on the west end of Long Island is a world class facility and those are the types of places that diving coaches want to work at because they can develop a team.

I would try and go to the closest high school or city pool with diving boards and ask the pool managers if they know of someone who teaches diving.
