diving instruction or clubs

Hi Tom, we live in Vancouver, WA and my daughter is interested in learning how to dive after watching this summers olympics. I can not find any one in our area (portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Wa) area where she can learn. If you would have any time to help me in this area we would be very grateful.

The only place you are going to find diving instruction is by contacting the Tualatin Hills Dive Club of Beaverton OR. There are no pools with deep water where you live so this program is as close as you will find.Contact my friend the Head Coach there Joe Lyons at
www.tualatinhillsdiveclub.com. They are on a break right now and will start up again sometime next month.

To get there, take Hiway 5 south and when you get into Portland, follow the signs to get on Hiway 26 West (Sunset Hiway). Then take the Cornell Rd. Exit. The pool is about a mile south from there.

Joe has a great program for beginners that I am sure your daughter will enjoy.
