Swimming Shorts with Zips

2016/7/15 12:00:47

Question
Hello,
I've recently decided to swim at a local, (natural, non-chlorinated) outdoor pool in Hampstead Heath in London UK, before work. There are no lockers which makes me afraid of thieves. What I need is to find a pair of water-shorts with a zipped pocket or watertight compartment to store keys etc. in. There must be something like that out there, but Internet searches have so far been useless.
It may seem a bit foolish to worry about these things, but I once swam on my own in the river Dnieper in Kiev in the Ukraine, and some bastard stole all my clothes and money. If phoning locally hadn't been free, I would have been in real trouble as I didn't speak Russian or Ukrainian. I don't want a similiar situation reoccurring!

Thank You
Geoff Purcell

Answer
Hi Geoff...

I understand what you mean.  What a cheeky bastard huh?  Anyways... there are two online water sports suppliers that I know of- Worldwide Aquatics and Kiefer.  Did you try both of those?  I used to work at the beach and they usually have something like that for lifeguards.

Please try those sites and if not you can write back.

Thanks!

LM
