i know how to swim but i cant tread water. i have a swimming class next week and i don't know what to do.?

The reason why I didn't immediately reply to your question is because I don't know what you are asking me.  Do you want me to teach you to tread water?  Do you want advice on treading water?  Do you want me to calm your nerves?  :-)

Don't worry.  Any good swim instructor will evaluate your abilities immediately.  He/she will know where to begin with you.

Please let me know if you need advice and/or pointers...I can provide that, however I don't know what you are asking me exactly.
