hi, could you please tell me which stroke would tone my abs the best?

Hi Kris--
The best way to tone your abs isn't really done by swimming.  The best way is with crunches, leg lifts, side sit-ups(easiest done with two people).  You can do some by doing dolphin kick(butterfly kick) on your back and really emphasizing the up direction of the kick.  Swimming helps, but the best way is on dry land.  Also remember, when you strengthen one muscle make sure you strengthen it's opposite, ie. stomach/back, biceps/triceps, quadriceps/hamstring, etc.
