What muscles - which stroke?

Question
Could you please tell me which swimming technique (stroke) suits best for certain large muscles of the body?
For example, if I want my pectoral muscles to larger up, do I rather use breaststroke or freestyle or butterfly?
I mean, if I swim a certain technique for an amount of time, what muscles should I expect to gain the most from that specific technique?
To sum up, I'm interested in these groups of muscles: abdominal, chest and upper arm.

Thank you very very much! And sorry for my English, if any mistakes made.

Answer
Hi Brendan...

In my opinion, Butterfly is the best for the chest and arms.  You need a lot of upper body strength to do that stroke.  If you can start out swimming a little of that every day then you should be able to at least get toned in that area.

The abdominal muscles are best toned in my opinion by any stroke but the best is pry freestyle.  It is the fip turns and the push off the wall that would build up lower abs.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
LM
